Hoi An is also a foodie capital in Vietnam due to past foreign invaders and present foreign demanders. Local specialties include many variations on pho, a rice-noodle all-purpose all-day soup, and "white rose" which is shrimp wrapped in rice paper, We're not gourmets but it's not hard to be adventurous with the menu and satisfied in the tummy. Having said that, this blog has nothing to do with food, unless you count the monk in the market! Anyone for the snake wine?? Just mixed pictures from a photogenic feast.
