Testing In The Tub

Blogger's Note: Blogspot is still wonky so this is a test of editing and posting. As of yesterday the limit was 5 pictures and no editing of typos, etc. Keep everything crossed!
About an hour north of us is the tip of the Bruce Peninsula, the top of Highway 6, and the northern end of the Bruce Trail (Canada's longest marked recreational trail at about 800km.).
It's also the village of Tobermory, locally called "The Tub". Always picturesque and gentle, in summer it booms with long-distance boaters, daytrippers to Flower Pot Island, and tourists coming or going on the ferry ChiChiMaun ("Big Canoe"). One of us won a bet with the other and the prize was an ice cream cone in the local dippery --- the biggest scoop in the county. Guess who had a giant Moose Tracks on a sugar cone??
Because of the crystal clear waters that drop off steeply, it's also a major dive centre for the experienced and the beginner. They're testing their togs, I'm testing my blogs. Good luck to all!!
