Barn Gets the Brush-Off, Spray-On

The previous blog post pleaded for all you followers to show up with brushes to paint the barn. The response was overwhelming, the number of volunteers uncountable! NOT.
Instead, we got Steve and Jeff to do the job with sprayers. Steve is a co-owner of a local restaurant but is really a beekeeper and barn-painter. He's still trying to combine the two and get the bees to paint with their wings! He looks like a mini Michael Moore, the rotund filmmaker.
Yesterday they came to do a powerwash and primer but couldn't continue because of light rain. Today they finished the job. The colour is called "Winterbird". First repaint since 1973, so I'll call for volunteers again in, let's see, 2049. Be ready.
