4th of July Daytime Fireworks

The gardens here have been planted so that there is something in bloom everyday, from snowdrops in April to fall mums in October. Up until today there have been all the spring bulbs, apple blossoms, flowering bushes, etc., etc. You'll have to check with the Garden Girl for all their names ---- Latin, common, and made-up.
But for all you American followers out there, the exuberance and eye-popping colours (or should I spell it colors today?) in the garden an hour ago look a lot like the fireworks you'll see tonight. Match these daytime beauties with the boombursts in the dark. Happy Independence Day... and don't forget to stop and smell the roses!
