Many cities have decorated their streets with distinctive fiberglass creatures as public art. Years ago Toronto had big creatively-painted moose (mooses?), even though the nearest moose was hundreds of miles away. In Vancouver local artists have created 130 spectacular adult-size bald eagles ---- and there actually ARE eagles here. Ironically these eagles were brought about by the local Lions Club, who will auction them off after the Games to benefit children's charities!
