PANGA ARTY PARTY

Remember that trend a few years ago where cities would place large art work/statues around town? Chicago had bulls, Toronto had moose, Vancouver had eagles ---- I think Tel Aviv had penguins! They were tourist magnets and great photo ops. (I remember all the Toronto moose became female when vandals broke off the males' horns!)

Puerto Vallarta is a little late to the  street art party but we've seen at least 20 pangas on the streets. "Pangas" are the traditional little rowboat used by PV fishermen for ages, until they got 200 hp Yamaha outboards. Progress! Nowadays you might see some pangas hanging in restaurants or used as kids playgrounds. The ones on exhibit lately lead down to the spiffy new town pier. See any you like?
