GOBSMACKED, PART 1

Went down to the waterfront for what we thought would be satay, a simple sound-and-light plus a night ride on the 40-storey high Singapore Flyer Ferris wheel. Instead we got gobsmacked by the sheer whimsy, creativeness, and blitzkrieg of colour. Like being in the movie Avatar, then walking through a DNA-helix bridge, then jostling through a crazed carnival. Totally mesmerizing, totally overwhelming.

Pat found her Chinese horoscope Snake, Rick found his Dog. Bollywood, floaters, and an emperor. We were in  a kaleidoscope!
