SEPTEMBER SMORGASBORD

Lots of activity this past week but the latest pictures are so-so. So I'm going back to some from two weeks ago that didn't make the last post. For instance, the Tall Ships left Owen Sound in a swarm of sails, salutes, and swimmers. Pat kept her fellow Master Gardeners enthralled with a seminar on ponds at --- our pond! And when we returned to Toronto there were more reminders of the city's amazing diversity. I'll call the first shot  "Saris Ponder Yoga" and the second "Beach Bliss".

Then this week started with near-tornado like skies, maybe The Car Gods being angry that I'm selling my Mustang? Across from that Owen Sound car lot was the 26th Salmon Spectacular. As of this writing, the leader was this 26-pounder but notice the lamprey eel that was sucking on it. Appetizer?? Much tastier was meeting cousins for dinner and a fashion show!

Then back to Toronto for the Labour Day weekend airshow and more work on the apartment.  Curtains on the front window. Assembling and installing kitchen cupboards. Last but not least, roof-walking to test an Over-the-Air tv antenna. So close to the CN Tower transmitter, we should get about 20 free channels. Any guesses how that worked out?

    1. Yes, the horse is leaving the barn. But did you notice the red convertible pickup in the back of the picture?
