Pouring rain much of the week so it's mostly indoor activities to start December. There's lots of movies to catch up on --- Green Book and Widows highly recommended. The fireplace needed tweaking to keep up with the dampness trying to sneak in. And heritage comfort food warms the body and soul.
We move around a lot but the happy guy in the red suit has been everywhere. One day the Lion's Club parade came by and even with the Grinch skulking around, there he was!
The next night, same guy mysteriously appeared at the boardwalk and lit up 80,000 colourful lights strung in the bare trees!
Then, last evening in the pouring rain, the same guy working the night shift drove up in a BMW convertible (top down of course). SC wowed all the kids and with a wrinkle of his nose the official neighbourhood tree burst into electric colours and carols. So it's beginning to look a lot like you-know-what. Where to go for "serenity now, serenity now"??
