MAY WEATHER WINS!

There was a big prize fight last night and Floyd Mayweather got the decision, but around here May weather is a knockout. The bird feeder at Kemble was well-stocked but the yardwork could wait and we went to Toronto for a few days of urban buzz.

Toronto has many "firsts" and "mosts" but the obvious is massive condo construction downtown, the most of any city in North America. Throw in street music and movies and it's a fun walk all the way down Yonge Street. Excitement around this summer's massive PanAm Games is growing (along with the merchandise!) and there's less than 100 days til Games time. Do you know the name of the Games' mascot??

Back at the Beach there's a rush to finish the bathouse and new boardwalk before the beach volleyball season. Dozens of dog walkers get $17 an hour per dog and are allowed to walk a maximum of 5 dogs at a time --- you can do the math on that, and it's an all-cash business. Hmmm. Sadly, a local man has gone missing and the cops are checking door-to-door, just like on TV.

May weather is throwing wild punches from magnolia trees and front yards. Not hard to take 11 rounds of this!
